This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Widespread showers with isolated embedded thunderstorms are expected
across the area this afternoon, with another round possible tonight.
The main threats will be cloud-to-ground lightning and torrential downpours.
Isolated heavy rainfall is also possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across
the area on Saturday. A few storms may be strong to severe, with the
threat of damaging wind gusts, hail, and locally heavy rainfall.
